Hi! My name is Jef Roosens, and I’m a Belgian student, currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science at the University of Ghent.

That intro probably already told you that I’m a nerd, which I can’t deny. Programming has been one of my main hobbies since I was 12 or something, tweaking old games & automating small tasks. It’s really fulfilling creating something useful that I can practically use, but I also often just make stuff for fun ;p

Besides my tech interests, I really love seeing my friends & going out. I’ve got a taste for whisky, with a slowly growing collection to show for it ;p When I was younger, I was a big fan of video games, but nowadays I mostly play Minecraft when I find the time. Besides playing games, I also follow the Trackmania Esports scene!

Music has been an important part of my life for many years. I’m one of those people that listens to music multiple hours a day, during studying, cooking, anything really. It really calms the chaos in my head, allowing me to think more clearly. It’s also a great way to improve my mood, or to help me process my current thoughts.
